Okay, and now... I must have mentioned before that except for my horses, I also own two Jack Russell Terriers. Laïka, a black-and-white and Phoebe, a brown-and-white. Now Laïka's a real watch dog. At least twenty times a night she runs down to the backyard to bark and keep the neighbour's cats away. (Or so she thinks.)

When I got up this morning and came out of my room, I noticed something peculiar in the hallway. There's an old side table (which we don't know where to put at this moment) and there was a bloody cat sleeping on it. Of course, I ran to my parents' room to make sure Phoebe was still asleep and then downstairs to check if the kitchen door was properly closed. Because I tell you... My dogs are not particularly fond of cats. Laïka will try to kill it while Phoebe will just hop stupidly after it. >.<

So 'Operation : remove cat without havings dogs notice' began... I short, I did manage to pick up the cat and get it outside without my army of dogs trying to tear it from my grip. But I admit my dogs looked at me quite suspiciously when they sniffed my fingers... Oops. XD

I'd forgotten I still had this one lying around. It was originally written for hdinspired Animagus Challenge, but it was already late and was sent back to me with a request to change it which I couldn't do because of RL reasons. (I do not hold any grudges because it was sent back to me.) And it didn't get edited later on either...

On another note... All of you lovely people on my f-list, you have probably noticed that I haven't posted anything fic related in a long time. I think the last thing I posted were my two entries for the Wizard Love exchange after the big reveal... To be honest, nothing good has sprung from my mind recently. So for the time being I have given up on trying to write HP fic.

I've really hit rock bottom when it comes to thinking up a decent plot. So you won't see anything new on this journal for a while, I guess. I've decided that for now I'm going to try my luck at my first fandom again. See if that'll get my muse going again...

If you were here for the fic, you may feel free to remove me from your f-list. Well, no one should feel obligated to keep me friended... I realise my RL posts have been scarce as well, but I just haven't been through anything exciting enough to post about it.

So this morning, I spent a few hours organising all of my pics I took in Egypt. There's about 300 of them, so maybe you can imagine I was at it for a while. LOL.

Anyway, if someone is interested, you can find a few pics here. They are a small summary of what my trip to Egypt has been like.

The first three pictures belong to Marc Fierens, a man I met in Egypt and who comes there to go diving in the Red Sea. The others belong to me. Please do not take any of them without my permission. Thank you.

After two weeks, I'm finally back home. I haven't really had the chance to come online while I was on holiday, but I finally made it back! *cheers* Egypt was brilliant. Nice and warm... And just about an hour ago, I came home to cold and rainy weather. Yuck. Belgium really really sucks in that aspect.

I'm a little too tired to type up an entire report now, but I have a lot of pictures to share with the lot of you. Soon, I promise. ;-) One of these days, I am going to start working on that mini-magazine I talked about, so you can expect that to appear at some point in the near future. LOL.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to fall over in a tired heap now. ;-)

Do I really have to say how much I hate the weather in the UK right now?!?!

I was happily watching the Wimbledon final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Each won two sets (Nadal the first two with 6-4 & 6-4 and Federer the third and fourth, both decided in a tie break ending in 6-3 and 9-7), each won two games in the final set and now it's deuce (40-40) on Federer's serve. And now it starts raining?!?!

Waaaaaaaaaaaah!

So... On Monday, xnuinx and I will be leaving for Egypt. We've been waiting for that trip since January now and we're getting rather excited. *ticks another day off the calendar*

Every time I go on a trip, I try to promise myself to write up a full report on my lj, which rarely ever happens. So this time, I'm going to try something else. I think I can safely say I'll be posting a few pictures now and then, but for the actual "report" I've been thinking about making a mini-magazine. Lay-out, pictures and text all included. It'll be fine practice for me considering I'm starting my last year of journalism in September and I've chosen the written press option.

I'll convert the file to a pdf and make it available for download should anyone be interested in taking a look at it. When I finish it, I'll post the link to the download here in my lj.

Because today is the Day of Doom for me (aka the day where I get my exam results), I thought I'd post the two banner/pic things I made yesterday. Just to have at least one cheery post today. Well, don't feel forced to comment, I only made these for my own enjoyment.
